AAO Back in the spotlight eh? My kinda thing : ).
If you can't get the game off the net ORDER A CD!!!! Their free!
2.4 Q-Course adds alot of great things, almost none to the old maps
. Heres a quick list:
CEM Changes- your Combat Effectiveness Meter (CEM) has been drastically reduced when not using iron sights, this is in any position. When using iron sights you can hit targets more accurately then before. This is the only effect to the old maps really besides the next.
Less grenades and 203's (one bridge and some other maps ). Maps that it are VERY easy to spam on ( close range like bridge ) the 203 has been reduced to 3 shots. It makes counting easier and consequently makes it harder for assault to get it going, as a "balance" they have taken away 2 mags from D's AR, in turn its less likely that you will get spammed with endless AR fire.
Wall destruction points- Hooah, break down that wall soldier! Fire an AT4 or RPG at some walls and watch them come tumbling down. Whats best is theres a damage script so make sure to try and capture some opfor behind it, watch the gore as they are crushed by gigantic boulders!
Sticky door mines- Ok..its a great idea but seriously these things....are weak. I expected more in this area and was disapointed when i got 5 feet away and didn't hear crap...
And now I am going to take up a little space of personal advertisement
RTS is at the front of tactical play on AA:O. Were not a clan, yet a unit. If you don't know the definition of unit=one. And yes we play as one cohesive group of people. We pull all our tactics from US Army Infantry FM's. I have to give credit to SSG Double Tap for that, and on that topic he is Active Military with the rank of Major, if you want to look that up yourself you can come onto our teamspeak. Our website is at lohikaarme.org so come check us out!!!
