I recently moved my XenForo forum over to a new host, but I kept the MySQL database from x10hosting because I cannot make databases on that host. I used the "MySQL Hosts" thing and put it in my XenForo config.php file. It's not working, help! I also added my server IP to it, and I don't know what to do...can someone help me?

It says this in the code of the website:

I assume you are trying to used (access) the x10hosting database from your 'new' host

due to the large abuse and security risk - x10hosting's free-hosting accounts do not have remote MySQL database access (both incoming and outgoing from the account) - x10hosting's firewall blocks all remote database access

one of the big risks is - individual user activity can get entire servers (e.g. IP = 198.91.81.2) and domains (e.g. x10host.com) blacklisted
which would effect hundreds of accounts

Oh, I get it. That's why none of the other databases would work except localhost. That's fine, I'll just make a copy of the database and put it somewhere else. Thanks for the help!

Well, I can't find a good free MySQL host....I don't know what to do. Can you suggest any good ones? D:
