For those of you who don't know, the Nexus One recently came out and imo, it is awesome! Android used to be spread amongst many different hardware platforms making app developers not exactly want to put their time into good apps for the device. But, now that it is on one official hardware, and a good one at that, I think there is some hope. This thing will surpass the iPhone, imo.

Well its not the central device its just google's try at a phone we will still see more android phones from other companies because google is encouraging it. Im not exactly shure why you say developers didnt want to put their best apps out because of no unified hardware. That is like saying that no one wants to put programs out for windows because there are multipe computer manufacturers. Though with the android market growing i think we will see many more apps.
