Any chance Fantastico is getting upgraded?

The new Joomla 1.5 looks like a really good CMS. I tried a manual install of Joomla 1.5 but I got an php error right off the bat. I'm not sure how fantastico and the programs it has works but will it be incorporating Joomla 1.5 anytime soon?

Which version of PHP do you have?
Also, Fantastico has 2 versions of Joomla!, one is 1.0 and the other is 1.5 if I remember correctly.

I wish that were true but I only see version 1.0.15 available for installation through fantastico. 5.2.5 is the php version I am seeing on CPanel.

What I meant was, have you requested intermediate PHP from x10?
If you haven't, go to http://www.x10hosting.com/login
and request intermediate PHP.

Wow I didn't know about that. I hope that was the reason why my first attempt at manually installing Joomla 1.5 failed. Thanks alot! Shouldn't I just try for Advanced PHP since CMS systems use a ton of PHP scripts? I don't know but I just asked for intermediate like you suggested for now.

No. Most CMS software will work with Intermediate. Advanced is rarely given and only to those that really need the features that it offers.

Ok then intermediate will be fine. I just hope that having the basic PHP configuration was the reason I ran into an error when trying to manually install Joomla 1.5. Thanks for replying so quickly I always find out something new and get fast help on the forums.
