here is the website address www.stepmania.com. its basically a Dance Dance Revolution Simulator for PC , Mac OS X and Linux you can dance using the keyboard. you can expand the functionality of it by adding a dance pad and you can play it that way. the program doesnt come with songs but they list different sites that offer them. i would recommend www.ddrspain.com and www.bemanistyle.com on the ddrspain site click descar then click on the various version of ddr you want or you can download an .iso image for the ddr game for pc and PS2. on the bemanistyle.com you must register in order to download. but jus follow the guides on stepmania.com
well if you want some song packs jus hit me up on aim and i can give you guys some packs i have at least 15-20gb of packs. actually there is another game called DANCE Online but its not stepmania and its from acclaim. the only downside is that its in beta and they have limited number of songs available. FTW if you want to get songs off of bemanistyle you must register in order to get them but the rest of the sites on the stepmania home page may or may not need registration.
Its actually pretty fun with the nifty graphics and all, the song collection is pretty good as well (at least for the chinese version, last count about 200 songs).
TBH, I prefer SuperDancer Online to stepmania nowadays... I don't like single player games Even at the arcade I don't play alone (except for some songs which I love double mode)
thats bc you havent checked recently bc they were making a contest called StepMix 1 and 2 and now a new contest called StepMix 3 and so far there are new simfiles to download both at the official stepmania website and bemanistyle.com.
