i want to make a memebrs section with passwords and usernames, which requires me to use apache, the site i was given in another thread by a members is

which helps, but i still dont fully udnerstand

i made an apache handler called "texting" with the extension ".htaccess"

but i cant find the file anywhere in the site to edit its content

am i doig somthing wrong?

Why the heck do you have an apache handler called texting?

Why don't you just use cPanel to protect the members section, it does that via htaccess as well, why make things harder for yourself :p

where is it inside cpanel? its my first website and im still learning haha

maybey some instructions for me? haha, could i pursuade you with a reward of the little tick box? =P

I would spend some time exploring cPanel and watching the tutorial videos.

I would definitely not use the method described in the link you posted with handlers, especially if you are not familiar with a hosting account.
