Hi Guys
I have hosted an Unicode site and the site seems working fine. But my Unicode characters are not displaying properly. I think the issue is because the Apache's default charset is not utf-8. Please check and let me know the issue

site URL
http://pathum.x10hosting.com/#

Thanks in advance

When you save the file make sure you also save it as UTF-8 encoding.

Also if your site isn't in English, French or Spanish then you need to provide a version of it that is in that language.

Hi Lambada,
Thanks for your support.

My site is in Sinhala language. I have saved all my pages as utf-8 and its working perfectly when Im running in localhost.

"Also if your site isn't in English, French or Spanish then you need to provide a version of it that is in that language." What did you mean??

Regards

It means that you must have an exact translation into English, Spanish, or French. So, if you site is in Sinhala (as you said), then you must also provide your site in one of those 3 languages.

I just wanted to have a experimental Unicode site. Its not a commercial or any informative site. So what is the purpose of have separate versions in different language? How ever now my problem have solved. I think that was because my pages are not saved as utf-8. I re-saved all my pages within ur code editor and its displaying the characters properly.

Thanks for you support

The purpose of asking for a separate copy of your site in either English, French or Spanish is because its the 3 languages that our support staff can handle. ( Although not all the staff can do all languages - thats just the 3 that are either spoken, written or read by the staff )

So, it makes it easier for the staff to check accounts and see no violations happening.
