Because NVidia lied alot about their "newer" products two years ago, and have really bad customer support.

It matters if you have a fast computer or not. ATI and NVidea are the leading competitors and yet they're both expensive and cheaper at times.

nvidia is way better however the Geforce AGP 6800 XFX BLOWS ASS! I bought this 200$ graphics card a year ago and its noisy and everytime I use it on my computer my cpu goes up to 50%, everything lags, I cant even play Counter Strike. I dont know if it's my motherboard, or the fact I have Windows SP2. But I have Athlon 64 3200 with a gig of ram (Perhaps its too slow?) plus 100 free gig hard space so it should run fine, this is messed up. Someone help me. wasted $200 on something I can't even get returned.

im running a geforce fx5200 (128 mb)
it makes absolutely no noise
and works great for counterstrike source!

Kinda tied for me.

I have 2 comps running on pentiums [3.0Ghz] and have an ATI in one and nVidia on this one.

I kinda like the nVidia better since this computer has BTX and is just sweet to look at, and since I was able to overclock by just editing the registry once and a couple clicks with the forceware.

But ATI seems more professional and reliable to me.

Both are doing great for me though. But shame on nVidia. Lying is ghey.

Also, I never ever got a ATI to work in my computer. I am a computer person so I know what I'm doing my motherboard doesn't like it. Wait my motherboard is a Nforce from Nvidia!
