1)I think the admin has not enabled automatic backups. For me automatic backup function is not working
2)is there any way to enable automatic backup?
3)My next question is that where to save that automatic generated backups?(saving it in our own account is not worthy)

4)It will be nice if any script exists that generate automatic MYSQL database and which will send that file to us as e-mail attachment(Does anyone think of that)?.

thanks in advance........

I would suggest saving a copy of your site and all it's contents to your PC. That would be the most logical. Doing manual backups is more reliable and you know for sure that it has been done.

I've heard loads of problems with Automatic Backups, such as some backups, despite nightly backups, sometimes having the latest backup being 2 months old! Well, if you do have a fast connection and/or access to a fast connection, along with a very busy site that you update a lot or is busy, I'd download a backup at least 2 weeks at a minimum. I take my backups probably once a week...

Agreed, and also the load it'd place on the servers every night doing backups would be outrageous. That's why it's not enabled. Do manual backups as suggested above.
