Automatic Confirmation E-Mail

Hi all,
within one of my scripts there is a message that should be automatically sent to the user when they sign up for my website, the message is a conformational e-mail that is sent to the user automatically from my sites e-mail address, however for some reason they are not receiving the e-mail even though i quoted the e-mail address properly in the script, is there something i need to do within my e-mail addresses settings to make it so it automatically sends them an e-mail from that address when they sign up?

You'd have to post your script here so we can see what it's doing. There's a number of ways to send email through PHP, which all can have their own pitfalls. Make sure when you post your code to mask any passwords and email addresses in there to prevent people from harvesting this data.

Never mind, I found the source of the problem, I had quoted "http://" twice haha, such an amateurish mistake but as least i found it, thanks for the help.
