Background image?

The website does not seem to be displaying background images whether I reference a CSS file or whether I do CSS inline. It seems to handle other things just fine but not the background image. Is my code wrong?

I'm seeing your background image. (Actually, the whole page becomes invisible when I look at it without the background image, because it would be white text on a white background.) The trouble is, the background image is a very large image (as measured by pixels, not file size), and thus the character in it is way over to the right and could be invisible on some screens. You might try shrinking it down to a more reasonable size.

BTW - I used a desktop with a 27" screen and a cellphone with a 6" screen to test your site
