I was going to back up my web pages and I logged onto my cPanel and my backup button was not on it anymore. I can not figure out where it went or how to get it back. Can anyone help me get it back and if so is there a way to lock the bars so they cant be moved or altered.

thanks

So what am I to do just download each file one at a time or will the back-up button be coming back?

Wtf, I KNOW I replied to this earlier. Friggin' forum glitches -_-'

Anyways, on the X3 theme, it's under Files right next to Backup Wizard, Legacy File Manager and File Manager.

Should that not work:

http://yoursubdomainhere:2082/frontend/x3/backup/index.html

Where yoursubdomainhere is something like thisismyaccount.x10hosting.com . Pulled the link outta my cpanel, hope thats what you're looking for :)

Quick note too, some ftp programs have backup controls in them. They basically just view the folder structure and download every file in every folder (preserving the tree, so it'll make a subfolder if it needs to). When it comes time to, you usually just tell it to upload the contents of the backup folder and it'll replace everything :)

On X10 it might be best if you only backed up the public_html or www folder though, dunno how much of the other folders we can screw up (I'd hate to have to remake an account)

WHAT? How come you still have X3 cPanel theme? I wish I had it but I dont have it :(, I dont even have the theme changer in my cPanel  Im stuck with 'Theme cPanel X v2.6.0' (aka x2).

Actually, on my cPanel the backups thing is where it is supposed to be, next to disk space usage and password protect directories.

...That's a good question actually, ask the admins why I still have it.

Same thing happened a while back; apparently the skin I was on which was default when I joined was removed from the theme chooser. But I still had it selected. And I didn't change it cause it looked good.

Made it a b*tch and a half to try and tell someone where the button was. Posted a screenshot going "ITS RIGHT HERE," to which I got the reply "DUDE! How'd you keep that theme? We can't even select it anymore," to which I replied "well that explains why you can't find it by my directions..."

Looks like it just happened again if you can't choose X3 either >_<
