band width, disk space?

Hi, i would like someone to explain to me what's the difference between bandwidth and disk space , and i have joomla on my site so i was wondering... for example if i add a picture on my site which storage does it take from :dunno: ?

Diskspace.

Bandwidth is what is used when someone accesses your website to view, leave a message.
Diskspace is the amount of space you have to store things.

what takes up space in disk space, when members register does that take up space, does text on my site take up space?

Well yes, but text takes up a VERY small amount of space. You would need a few books worth of text to even make HALF a megabyte of space. When member's register... well i cant say.. probably but i cant say how much it would.

When members register, that will only take up a very small space on your mysql database, and not actual disk space.

If I assume correctly, you have a max of 25MB space on each database.
