BD hostname

I can't find out the BD hostname of my MySQL database.
Were do I find it or what is it.
Ive made data bases before but not with cpanel, I'm use to the host name to be given to me with the user name and pass.

it's always localhost here

When it try to check the DB I get this error and I know the pass is right.

Could not connect to the database, see error message below.
Access denied for user 'FAKE_FAKE'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

which is the CMS or BB?

Have you actually added a user "To the database"?? And if so have you:

1. Set a password
2. Spelling it right and in whatever config your using to access the DB?

also remember the username and database name are prefixed with your cPanel username.

Well if none of that works, its also worth checking what privilages the user has that you are trying to connect with.
