Bearshare and Windows Firewall

I need to allow Bearshare to bypass my Windows firewall. I have allowed the program and the port access but it still can't connect...anybody got any tips for me?

Make sure any other firewalls you are using apart from the windows one have Bearshare added to it's list of allowed applications.

lol yea get rid of bearshare and use limewire.. i have version 4.9.7.. see if you can find that version

Limewire in my opinion is only good for.... uncopyrighted music. Whilst Bearshare is gd for.... open-source programs and.... videos of funny stuff. If you get what I mean.

the thing is if you switch to limewire or any other program you will still have the same problem
oh and btw bearshare and limewire are on the same network so it shouldn't make a diff for programs/music

Bearshare aint working for me. And i cant install limewire

do you have access to it?? and if you do limewire only seems to work properly on admin, there are ways around this, but I'm not totally sure on how to do it.
