What's the best defragmenter for Windows? I think Windows' default disk defragmenter isn't doing a good enough job.. anyone recommend anything better?

mgw854 said:The NT version of Windows Defragmenter is actaully one of the retail versions (though I can't remember what one) rebranded. It is considered one of the best tools unless you have a huge drive. Plus, fragmentation really isn't that big of a deal now days.

If defragmentation is your biggest concern and if you don't mind changing operating systems then switching to linux with ext2 or ext3 file system will be another way to work the situtation. Ext2/ext3 doesn't get affected by defragmentation as compared to FAT or NTFS.
