Best Gaming Console

Alright guys, i dont have neither 360, PS3, nor wii.


But im going with 360, ill prolly buy it in a few months.. why did i pick 360? well because i have xbox and it will just guarantee me the graphics, although ps3 does have great graphics, i just dont like the gamepad

and wii.. well.. i think its for kinda little kids -.-

Out of those three, the 360 is tops. Do I have to elaborate any more on COD4?

Wii is second only because it's moddable, has Metroid Prime 3 (well done for an FPS that uses a remote), and is going to have downloadable Commodore 64 games.

My PC pwns the XBox 360 at graphics and framerate on COD4...

Otherwise, XBox 360 for games, PS3, never tried it and the Wii for Super Smash Bros.

anyways, i know playstation is very good, and i have seen some comparison shot, both 360 and PS3 look great, only difference is that 360 is more "bright" and ps3 has more "light shading" i guess.

But regardless, my PC specs:

2 GB RAM
80 GB HDD

Runs COD4 great, and Crysis pretty smoothly

Out of the three the Wii would be first. The Wii is more affordable, both console and games, and Nintendo haves done a great job. They seem to have taken the best of the older consoles and added the best controller system ever invented. Most other modern systems seem to be pushing the same FPS game, over and over again.

Second would be the Playstation 3 and the xbox would be a far dead last. Both Sony and Nintendo are respectable companies that have not broken any severe laws(no laws at all as far as I know), unlike microsoft which haves broken the worse corporate laws(charged at least twice by anti-trust laws) in several countries. This is not to mention all the other questionable activities done by microsoft.

Also, a recent huge hit to the xbox is the dying of the HD-DVD format. The PS3 comes with built in Blueray support, the Xbox haves no support at all for Blueray which is now the only standard for next generation high definition movies.

Even though I am like you and don't watch movies on a console, a large percentage of people do, and, purchasing a console for $400 to only play video games is a lot. Especially when you could put together a gaming PC for a similar price.

about microsoft breaking laws?

microsoft is the worste company on the planet. They steal code from Chineese programmers and open source projects then go after people who "pirate" "their" products. I could write a book about all the laws M$ haves broken and all the questionable activities they have done around the world. Just take a look at Slashdot, or possibly, OSnews. Many of the things microsoft does is reported there.

i love the mentally challenged post "360 for COD4"...COD4 is out for PS3 as well and in fact looks slightly better/sharper on PS3 (not a lot but you can tell in the screenshots especially, see youtube).

95% of this video they look identical, there is maybe one or two spots where i found more particles and better lighting in the ps3, but really not much difference. considering it was also ported from 360 to ps3, thats pretty impressive.

i vote ps3, better features and soon better games all around outside of online which are even (free for ps3, rankings for 360 so it's even). downside to the ps3 is the cross console games (outside of Assassin's Creed and a select few others) they are mostly 360 ports which means they are limited to the 360's graphics and on occasion the games look worse because they are ports, but the ps3 exclusives like Uncharted and Haze when it comes out, display the power that 360 doesn't have.

I still have not decided which is best, ps3 or xbox 360, they are both same graphics so now it comes down to the games, feel of controller, and features....I will say at this time is 360, but maybe 1 year from now it will be ps3
