i'd recommend yahoo. first year is $2.99, and then $9.99 after that. If your looking for best place pricewise, thats what i recommend. otherwise, im the wrong person for you to be asking. lol. anyway, good luck.

I recommend optinom.com, domains cost $8.20, .org are cheaper. Also, domains are easy to manage and for $1 extra you get advanced DNS manage.

I think I'm going to use 1&1. They seem to be the cheapest and offer the most for $5. Any bad experiences with them anyone? There aren't any hidden costs are there?

I use them currently and haven't had any issues or problems. :)

Sorry for hijacking your topic, but i have a question too regarding domain.

Erm, since you guys registered domain from different companies.I too have a domain with eNom, but then, eNom doesn't let you add/edit Host records if you change the default DNS Nameservers... =\

Any idea which company will let you add/edit Host records even tho you're not using their DNS Nameservers?... :dunno:

I use Namecheap.com, 1 year is 8.88 and theres tons of features.
S_W_A_T - with Namecheap, I don't transfer the DNS Nameservers and point the www and @ records to the x10 server I'm on and that seems to work fine. You should be able to do that with any domain company.

I've got my domain with 1&1 now and other then the fact I have to put www at the front everything works fine. But the www problem is a nuisance.
