In my opinion this will be the funniest of the year. Borat is hilarious. But the kazakstan government sued sasha cohen for it.

DO you think its appropriate? Shoudl Mr.COhen be being sued?

HAH Borat is going to be hilarious.. the Ali G Show wasn't THAT funny.. but this actually looks promising.

I don't care how ethnically offensive this is, I think it's just comedy!
After all, we aren't under a communist or facist government

While he is earning hype from other people, the government shouldn't sue him. But then, not all governments share the U.S.'s ideals of free speech. So, it might be within the realms of possibility. I personally see nothing wrong with the movie. But someone will :\

I just saw it and it was amazingly funny. It had a couple kokes about jews, but I am a jew myself and didnt find it offensive. Its so like outrageous its to hard to take seriousley. FOr example he goes:

Im sorry the jews called 9-11. Like who cna believe that? LOL

But also Sasha Cohen(Creator/Actor of borat) Is a jew himself.

I think its pretty stupid. The nation of Kazakhstan has actually sued over Borat because it defames them by putting out BS that is believed to be true by people who know nothing about their country. While in a past era, this movie might rank as the crappiest of a decade, it merely ranks among the crappiest of this year. I think this year has made last year (with Brokeback Mountain nominated for almost every Oscar) look like a banner year. Hollywood is creatively bankrupt, just most of our culture is these days.

It depends how you take it, Im jewish as I state often, and find it funny how people like in the movie borat, which isnt staged, shwos how ignorat people are.

And I quote

the thing is the guy didnt even flinch, this is why it isnt sbeing showed in small towns just majoor cities.

Its only being played in 800 theatres in north america.

But as that scene I quoted before and sceneds like that, its funyn because some one like me can laugh and see how stupid people are, but certain people can take it the wrong way.

Im in ajewish school, and one of my teachers 5 years ago was in a coffee shop speaking hebrew to her friend, and a lady walks in with her young kids and heard my teacher speaking hebrew so she said to my teacher, are you jewish? and my teacher replied, yes, I am. Then the woman said kids come here, see she doesnt have horns.

The movie makes fun of Americans, not foreigners. Some people need to understand this, and quickly.

Such as this clip (not from the movie, I'm assuming Ali G show) where he gets a whole crowd singing "Throw the jew down the well". Some people joined in immediately, while others joined after they noticed it was a joke.

Ive aaw that and its quite funnym, even tho im jewish its funny for some one like me and other jews to watch to watch the ignorance of these people, and as I said hes jewish himself.
