hi guys! i'm a x10hosting newbie here.

i searched about failing to create databases, but it just said they got problems with mysql.
:nuts::nuts::nuts:how can i use mysql then?

what should i put in the server name parameter in mysql_connect() function call?:lockd:

and a weird thing: i upload index.htm in the web root, but my homepage is still blank... how come?

i don't know about the database, you may have to upgrade your php

and the homepage takes a little while your first time i think, just from what I've been through

I'm no genius though, maybe I'm wrong

You have to delete the x10hosting index file from your document root.

for the homepage try opening cpanel and see if the code is in the file editor
or try renaming index.htm to index.html

The MySQL server is "mysql.x10hosting.com".

As for the homepage, you'll have to delete the "index.html" file already in there from when you created your account before your other one will show.
