Some time ago, when you create a new free Moodle site, this error message (topic) appears when you try to create new users in the site.

Call to a member function getAttribute () on null
That happend to my wife, who created it a couple of months ago but mine, created years ago, can do it perfectly. Hope you can shed light on this issue to us.
