Can not find find Pending change E-mail

on 02/14/17, after signing in, clicked on Open cPanel button, clicked on Settings,
changed email address from leetown@centurylink.net to leetownmodels@gmail.com

Have yet to receive confirmation email, Account Settings still show
Pending change to leetownmodels@gmail.com

Have double checked spelling multiple times. I realize that if this is a gmail problem, you are unable to assist, but any suggestions would be welcome (leetownmodels@gmail.com is a new account).

Now this is getting interesting, please bear with me here.
1. When this account was initially set up, contact e-mail address was hp3000guru@yahoo.com.
2. Was later changed to leetown@centurylink.net.
3. 02/14/17 was changed again to leetownmodels@gmail.com.
4. The response to this discussion was sent to hp3000guru@yahoo.com, the e-mail address 2 changes ago (instead of signing in w/ <e-mail address>, I used <username>).

Per your "Perhaps the email needs resending." suggestion, went through the steps of changing e-mail address again (Being lazy, I copied and pasted from address book - could that be a problem?).

For what it is worth, this the 1st time I ever had even a minor problem w/ x10.
