Cannot access C-Panel with current password

I recently changed my login password, and while I CAN login to the account portal, when I calick on the link to take me to the C-Panel, I get re-directed to a login page.

At this point if I put in the new password the system returns an error that the login is invalid.

I have tried changing the password twice now, each time waiting a number of minutes to hours before trying to access the C-Panel. What do I need to do to get access to the C-Panel?

I seem to have been able to find my old password for the C-Panel login, but now I have two different passwords, one for the hosting portal and another for the c-panel. How do I synchronize these?

This may be related to an issue posted in another thread, normally the password would change for both account portal and cpanel to be the same. Admins are looking into that issue if it would turn out to be related it should be sorted in a fairly quick manner I hope.

You might have to logout from account portal and back in with the new password to get them synced up, I've seen that mentioned as a possible solution many times.

Please sign out of the portal and back in. Wait about 10 seconds before following the cPanel link once you've signed in.
