cannot access cpanel and my site

Hello everybody
this is my first post so I want to size the occasion to thank everybody at x10hosting.com.
The vox server seems to have a certificate problem. I discovered that few minutes ago while I was trying to access cpanel. I got this message from firefox :

vox.x10hosting.com:2083 uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.

(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)

after that I went to my website where I got a 401 unauthorised access.

The SSL certificate will be fixed soon, you should be able to add an exception with your browser in the mean time.

Regarding trying to access your site, it seems you password protected the root directory, this is why you are receiving a 401 error.

Thanks for answering this fast. You are right about the password, but I am using the right credentials.

Try removing the protection via cPanel, then re-add it.

I was just doing that, also I moved the content in another directory and recreate username and password, no luck ! Any idea ?

Just a clarification:
now I can access the website but not the protected directory.

Please can anybody look in to why I'm forbidden to run cgi scripts(403) and why cannot access password protected directory ? Until few days ago I did not have this problem.:wink:
