Hi,

I am having trouble logging into cpanel. I have tried the links in original sign-up emails, the control panel links from the x10hosting page. Sometimes it doesn't get there at all, giving a server timed-out message, other times it displays the login page without formatting, and so far on only one occasion (since the problem began) the login page for cpanel has displayed correctly, letting me enter my username and password. A message then appeared saying these were invalid. I can still access the frontend of my site www.rnwod.x10.mx but not the full CMSMS backend which appears to have lost a stylesheet and module (it renders without formatting, making it only usable for a limited number of tasks).

I have tried this on two different computers (one running XP and Firefox 6, and the other with Windows 7 and Firefox 5) and on two separate internet connections and had the same problem. Until last week, everything had worked fine.

Because of the problem accessing the login page for cpanel, I can't tell if my account has been suspended or not. Can this be checked?

Thanks

I successfully reset my password and can now access the x10hosting account panel, but when I try to access my files on chopin (using either ssl or non-ssl links) it times out.

Any ideas?

I have now tried accessing the links to the server directly and via the account panel from several different computers (using xp, w7 and ubuntu, with both Firefox and IE) to make sure that it is not a local problem, but will keep searching to see if it is a browser problem.

Have you tried to connect via FTP? If you haven't, could you try (to test out a theory).

Good suggestion. Thanks.
I just tried and yes I can.:)
At the very least I can access my files to make a backup of my site, which was my main concern in the first place. I should also be able to suss out my css problem this way too, but it is a bit of an untidy workaround.

So what's the theory?
