Cannot Change file permissions on Chopin

Dear Seniors.Fellow Members and New entrants,
Good Morning to all of you.

I am given an ad enhanced corporate account on CHOPIN server.
Now I cannot write any thing in to the folders and changing file permissions is not possible.
The server always reports the following

"Fileop failure on /home/..."

Please help me if you have any suggestions.

I would be thankful to you as my website is crumbling now.
