cannot connect via ftp or log in to cpanel
can log in to user account though

what i can see is not a welcome page? but a page saying that the domain is available, but i was sent the confirmation email saying that the account has been successfully created (with that domain name)so im not sure what to do next

Let me get this straight. You don't see a bluish page when you goto your sub-domain address? Something that basically says " Welcome to your new x10Hosting.com hosting account. You may replace this index.html with your new website. Please remember the best way to receieve support is through the x10Hosting Forums."?

In that welcome e-mail, it should of given you an address to login to your Cpanel, where you can work on your website.

no i cant see a welcome page,
and yes i did follow the links on the welcome email,
but when i try to log in to the cpanel using my user name and pw sent to me confirmed in the email it says log in failed..
