Cannot delete folder in my public html folder

After adding a deleting add on domains im left with a folder that wont delete

ive tried to delete it 10-15 times over the last few hours and as soon as i go up 1 directory level and back its there again ?

could one of the admins please have a look at this for me
as im stumped

cPanel --> FileManager OR FTP

go to public_html and then up one directory level
Note permissions on public_html
Change them to 0777
Remove the files & directories you want to remove
Change permissions on public_html back to their original setting

tried that this morning and it didnt work descalzo

i will try again to see if i can get them to delete if not im going to have to ask one of the admins to have a look in my acount
