Cannot extract zip file?

Your problem is just what it says. Either your zip file is corrupt, or your zip file is one part of a multi-part archive. Either way, you're gonna find it near impossible to get anything out of that archive. What is it exactly that you're trying to extract? It's likely you just need to go and download another copy.

Looks like you're trying to update SMF inside of SMF itself. You could try installing the update manually via FTP. I have SMF 2.0 running on my x10Hosting account, the most recent version (SMF 2.0 RC1.2) and I've been updating SMF via FTP for ages. Back when I was on my home server I had a network share set up so that I could update the SMF files within seconds via the network without dealing with FTP, and then have the updating of the SMF database take place within 5 seconds of me extracting the ZIP.

Ok I'll try that but before I extracted it on control panel with no troubles.
