Hey there. For some reason I have been unable to upload any files either through Joomla! or both cPanel file managers (the new one and the legacy one). The generalized error I'm getting across the board is that permission is denied, but it looks like all the folder permissions are set to the correct value.

Would like help with this as soon as possible, I know you guys are busy with the MySQL stuff (which I also recently updated in Joomla! to point to the thing that's not localhost).

As a sidenote, my site has been quite unstable, off and on the past several days. I called a friend of mine who runs a "sister site" and he pointed this out to me, so it's been very noticable. However, cPanel has been acting fine. Just reporting on mine and others' observations.

Thanks for your attention, guys. Cheers!

Edit:
I hope I'm allowed to bump this...

Anyways, I have a unique problem here that's not been addressed by a server update that I can't fix and I see so many people still posting about how their mySQL isn't working. On behalf of everybody else who does... Please read the server updates! :eek4: Important threads get knocked down from that kind of stuff.
Thanks.

I really need this uploading problem fixed if I'm going to add new content to my website successfully. :happysad:

Thanks again.

Alright, well, I was able to upload ONE file within the past week or so and again I'm being told both by joomla and both File Managers in cPanel that I don't have permission to upload files.

I'd like some support with this ASAP please.

I know about both of those.
I have SmartFTP, but I don't want to bother with it since everything is accessible right from the web interfaces.

I also want to be able to upload things in their appropriate places with the Joomla! upload buttons when I'm updating parts of my site because it's quicker and more convenient on a per-need basis.

The problem here though is that I don't even have permission to upload files. That's what needs to be fixed.

Thank you for the suggestions, but this is more of a technical problem as far as I'm aware.
