Hi Neil. I know that SSL is a premium feature but as far as I know I can access my site via https using the server's ssl certificate. In other words, not via my site's domain name but using the "real" server name: in my case (my account is hosted at xo1) it would be https://xo1.x10hosting.com/~myuser (myuser it would be my cpanel username). This should get me in my site using https. I've tested this from another free account and works fine.
Thanks!

Hi Team,

I am looking to get SSL for my website which is compatible with Facebook Apps. I have tried https://xo1.x10hosting.com/~mobilefg but it gives a 404 Error. Does the premium account offer SSL with the monthly package ?

Have you considered Cloudflare? That will give you SSL between the user and the Cloudflare service (they're rolling out the "universal SSL" service right now, all accounts should have a cert sometime over the next few days), even if all you get between Cloudflare and your "real" server is HTTP. (Someone could conceivably MITM that trunk, of course, but that would be a real boatload of traffic to sniff if they're looking for anything in particular.)

Hi mobilefg,

I have another x10hosting free account on xo2 and it works fine. I can access to my site by pointing my browser to https://xo2.x10hosting.com/~myuser (myuser is cpanel username). I don know why this is not working on xo1. The support couldn't solve this issue.

Thanks for your replies.

I ask about the SSL with paid packages as I am planning to move to paid version, to avoid my account getting blocked due to high server utilisation.

I apologise, my server is xo3 and my secure url https://xo3.x10hosting.com/mobilefg does not work. It displays a 404 Error.
