"In order to use the Ad-Enhanced hosting account management panel, you must have your forum account linked to your hosting account.
Please enter your cPanel username below, you will receive an E-mail with further instructions. Be sure to have the same E-mail address registered with your cPanel account that your forum account has!"

Hi

Have you active your account?

You should have received a confirmation email. Check your email!

Then you should be able to access the control panel from the following link:

http://your_username.x10hosting.com:2082

Hope this helps!

Regards
Ishaq

Looks like your account was terminated on 10/16, reason 'Suspended for an extended period of time', which means the account was suspended for 10+ days.

I checked the history, it was suspended for inactivity and never unsuspended. (Visiting the forums does not unsuspend it).

Did you go for a two week period without checking in?

" 7. Inactivity Accounts found to be inactive are suspended for a 10 day period and then terminated. All data including any type of backup or stored information is removed with the account. To prevent an account from being suspended for inactivity it is required users visit the x10Hosting forums located at http://forums.x10hosting.com at least ONCE every TWO WEEKS. Accounts must also have a working website within one week of account creation. If you don't use your webspace we will give it to someone who will."

I thought visiting the forum and logging in was all that as required.
Shouldn't I have got an email stating that the account was suspended? so I could investigate it.

But basically I should just recreate my website and webname?

you want to be babied and told about everything? you signed up to the ToS which you quoted there. so therefore you must've failed to do so.. because your account was susspended. You didn't notice this when you're site wasn't working? Basically yes you need to create your hostign account.

thats fine I don't mind having to start again now that i know what caused the problem.

Im just saying would it be better if when an account gets suspended the "owner" of that account gets sent an email saying that there account has been suspended and what actions to take.

Thanks

This has been discussed quite a bit on this forum and Corey has stated that there is no way, shape or form that we are going to do that. Because many don't have their e-mails properly set, or change it and use e-mail accounts they created with their hosting accounts. We would get bounced e-mails, or the e-mail may wind up in Spam folders and never checked. We would spend even more time having to see who got their e-mails and who didn't. Honestly, we already work for free and spent way too much time checking accounts and responding to people that we don't have time to babysit each person to make sure they understand the rules they agreed to.

Pretty much what was said above.

We give a 10 day window for a user to post about their suspension, if they don't we assume they do not want their account and they are terminated.

You will have to create a new account, sorry.
