cant access NEW index.html

I deleted the original index.html in /home/apachief/public_html and replaced it with my new sample index.html. But my new webpage never comes out. It is still the original webpage that says

" Welcome to your new x10Hosting.com hosting account. You may replace this index.html with your new website. Please remember the best way to receieve support is through the x10Hosting Forums.".

Any suggestions??

WELL, there was a mix-up during the registration process....and i thought the vega666 account no longer existed. How do i cancel that account?? the apachief account is the only one linked to my registered email address

An admin will delete it for you. If you don't get rid of one, then the system will suspend them for multiple accounts.

Although you've logged in successfully, there was an error retrieving your account's hosting type from the backend system.
