Cant connect to database

Hi,

my site hosted on x10hosting servers is having two apps joomla and phpBB both cant connect to sql servers.

please check ..

Try this:
Login to cPanel ( http://fris.x10hosting.com:2082/ )
Click on Remote MySQL
Add the following to the list:
int.fris.x10hosting.com

Then reload your site again.

i tried adding but it says

"Sorry, the "Access Host" field must be a valid hostname.
(Example domain.com)
(Wildcard Example %.domain.com)"

one similar entry is already in the list: int.cossacks.x10hosting.com

what should i do ??

Try using the IP.

Hey thanks a lot man ...

I can access my site now it worked the trick was ..

i was logging into cpanel using x10hosting link which went to https://fris.x10hosting.com:2083

after logging into ur URL with port 2082 i was able to successfully add the remote host and now it is working.

Can you just explain why adding remote host solved this issue .. thanks a lot in advance.

I am guessing that your stuff needed access to the new mysql server.
