cant connect to DATABASE

i am tryin to install my site (sql) but i get this message:

[SIZE=+1]The database has failed to connect because you do not have permission to connect to the server. Please confirm the values entered in the 'includes/config.php' file.

plz help.......also can someone tell me wht the Database IP is and wht is the port number?

Database is located at localhost


Make sure that you have created a user and database in your cPanel

I'm also getting same "Can't connect to Database" error. I have checked the Status of MySQL Server. Its online. I have also created database and my site was up and running till few moments ago. But now.. I'm getting this error.

in order to connect yours database, primarily what you must:
1 to create a new one database
2 to insert the data (example password and user)
3 in order to install a product the put serveur and:
localhost
passowrd yours password
user user_yours hosting
and then you must set up the permissions of the folder. ok?

thnkz everyone....and sorry for the font it was by accident...since i directly copied the message ....

i have created a database...with user and password and all permissions...but in my install file i have to put the servername and port plz tell me wht tht is ...thnkz

I am having the same trouble. It will let me create databases and assign users, but it won't let me assign permissions. I set them, and they automatically reset. Because of this, I cannot install e107 or any other script.
