can't connect to site/cpanel

i'm unable to connect to my website or cpanel ( lvm.x10hosting.com )

other people can connect, but not me. the problem started last night when they were doing the server maintenence, and when i woke up this morning it was working again. worked most of today until a few hours ago, and now its doing the same thing it was doing last night. here is the message i get when i try to load the site:

Firefox can't find the server at lvm.x10hosting.com.

everything else loads fine, its not my computer, so i was thinking its some dns issues since other people can connect to it but i can't. i can only load the site if i'm on a proxy. is there anything you guys could do to fix this or is the server maintenence still going on?

edit: seems to be working again now, not sure if you changed anything or if it just resolved on its own.. but thanks if you did and just for some extra information, my problem seems to be exactly the same as the one in this similar thread: ( http://forums.x10hosting.com/free-hosting/38964-same-problem-dns-error.html )


edit2: broken again... seems to be random, i haven't changed anything, it just works for a while then quits again :/

Are you doing anything when it stops working? FTP, Uploading, editing something?

no, i'm usually not even on the website... i'll check the forum on it and then go do something else, then i come back and i get the 'server cannot be found' messages on both the site and cpanel. it'll still work for other people though. (i can access it if i have to only through a proxy) but as far as i know i haven't been doing anything whenever it stops working. (and as of this post it's still down for me)

tried pinging and flushing dns too multiple times, hasn't helped:

I see, it is because the IP range used by your provider is currently blacklisted. You can see the blacklist status by going to http://whois.sc and typing in your IP.

i see... why would it be blacklisted? and is there anything i can do to remove it?

Instead of making my own post, I'm going to try just posting here instead. I can't access my domain (horizonsonfire.net) or the associated subdomain (horizonsonfire.elementfx.com) unless by free online proxy stuffs. But my friends can. Is my IP blocked by chance?

Also I can't connect by FTP anymore.

I modified the firewall settings and everyone should be set. If this is incorrect please re-open this.

reopening this because i'm still having problems... nothing new, still can't connect most of the time :/ flushed dns again, cleared cache, restarted computer/modem/router, still getting server not found when trying to access my site. others claim it works fine, still works for me with a proxy. am i still on the firewalls blacklist for some reason or is it a different problem now?

Hmm, we don't have any US IPs blacklisted. Can you PM me your AIM or MSN if you have them so I can change firewall settings and have you test live?
