I can't seem to get access outside of my VPS when I have Ubuntu or Debian installed. Is there something I have to do to enable net access?

Everything is fine in the RedHat based distros, but I'd rather use Ubuntu.

hmm. Are you sshing into it or using the console connection in the control panel.

If you can connect to it via ssh, the first thing i can think of is either bad resolve.conf or some rouge iptables setting.

Im using the console in the control panel. I cant access it from the IP that's assinged to it.

iptables doesnt seem to be installed, and resolv.conf is empty.

Hmm, you might want to open a ticket then, as support should cover basic connectivity.

I got it fixed. Thanks for pointing me toward resolv.conf. That was the problem. Thanks :D
