Can't delete FTP fields

i tried to intsall wordpress but i failed so i would like to retry so i want delete older fiels but i can't.
Can you help me ( sorry i'm french )

If you go into cpanel >> File Manager or ftp, open your public_html folder, and delete everything in the folder. Do not delete the folder its-self though.
