Hi all, this is a very dumb question, though I can't for the life of me find .htcaccess in any directories.
I'm wanting to disable caching for certain things (I'm using plain html that changes often, and chrome keeps caching it).

Any help on the matter would be appreciated.

1. Make a File
2. Open the File
3. Go to the top left hand corner and you will see a link
4. Where you see your file name like 'file.php' change that to .htcaccess
5. Add your code on the file and click Save Changes

If you're using the cPanel file manager (either one), you'll need to select "Show hidden (dot) files" in the dialog (the one that lets you select the directory to open, etc.). Obviously, accidentally selecting a dot file and deleting it, moving it or giving it weird permissions in a mass-maintenance move may have some nasty consequences, so you need to put a check mark in the "I know what I'm doing, let me do it" box.
