cant install script

hi im trying to install spirates v2.3, i descompress all the files right in the public_html directory, then i try to start the script by aceesing to mictlan.x10.mx/install.php but i got a 500 internal server error, and i do not know why i have installed this script several times in my own pc and always works, know i do not know why it dont work if u can help me ill be great thanks.

Howdy;
What are your current file permissions?
Directories and folders should have their permissions set to 755 and files should have have their permissions set to 644. Having 777 or 666 permissions causes 500 Internal Server Errors.
