Can't login FTP/Cpanel

I have a new account but:
1- Tried to login several times to ftp:"Connected, user name ok, incorrect password".
2- Tried to login to CPanel: "incorrect password"
3- Account panel works ok. I even tried changing my password but it wasn't changed.

Still got the problem.
Yesterday I got a php upgrade accepted, and i guess today the change was made, but now I can't even login succesfully to my account panel (with the same old password.):

Senior staff needs to re-link your accounts.. Is brandnew your cpanel login name?

If cpanel account = hosting account, yes.

Hosting account "brandnew" doesn't exist in our servers. It seems your account didn't got created.
Try registering for a new account.

Thanks, fed. I re-registered the account as if it didn't exist. I can login again into account panel, also to CPanel and FTP.
Only problem is I got this message:

Your application for PHP v was accepted and your account is pending a PHP version upgrade.¨

I had applied for PHP v2, and it was already accepted, so could anyone please upgrade my account?
The reason was I'm developing a Drupal and mediawiki site.

Your account has v2 "Intermediate".
You need to wait for our script to run (it runs aproximatelly) every 12hours, and this will enable all v2 features in your account.

I have the same problem!
I can log in to the site, but cant open cPanel - invalid password blahblah, but unlike brandnew, i cant create a new account with same info?
