Can't login with FTP

Hello, I used search but could'nt find anything with keywords "ftp", so...
I cannot login to my ftp account, I have added a user "wh@wantedhaunted.pcriot.com".

But here is what my FTP program says:

Status: Resolving IP-Address for wantedhaunted.pcriot.com
Status: Connecting to 74.86.133.24:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 220---------- Welcome to Pure-FTPd [TLS] ----------

And I have surely wrote the password right, what's the problem?

I have tried to download ftp configuration from c-panel, but it didn't work at all.

To login to FTP use the following information for your account:

Host: ftp.wantedhaunted.pcriot.com
Port: 21
Username: The same you use to login to cPanel.
Password: The same you use to login to cPanel.

You should be able to login with that details.

I just resynced the FTP passwords, please try again.

Still same old problem.
Byw, now I can't get to my cpanel aswell, it says "incorrect password". I resetted my password with that form, but haven't got eny e-mail with new pass.

Not to jump into your thread and talk about my problems but, im having the same problem with mine i connect and it hangs for afew seconds then shuts down. so maybe its the servers and not something your doing.

Oh thanks I needed this help too. I followed the first directions and finally got mine to work!

I restarted the FTP server, see if this helps.

Well, if you can't login to cPanel that would explain why FTP is not working for you.
