Cant Select Database

Hello,

This is the error m getting if i try to login to my blog. my website url is mukeshkini.co.cc.

Can’t select database

We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the mrkini_mydb database.

* Are you sure it exists?
* Does the user mrkini_mrkini have permission to use the mrkini_mydb database?
* On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_mrkini_mydb. Could that be the problem?

If you don't know how to setup a database you should contact your host. If all else fails you may find help at the WordPress Support Forums.

look in cpanel and in phpmyadmin, does the database exsist?

he said it hasn't worked for a week, and that it can't find the database. Neither of which would be the result of mysql being down for maintenance now

I got the same problem before and I found out that the database username privileges have been altered. Make sure you check all boxes and ensure you have all privileges enabled. After you enabled it, refresh your page. It should be back up.

I have checked all that! the database exists and also the user is there with all privileges assigned to it! but still the error is
ERROR ESTABLISHING A DATABASE CONNECTION.

if i try to login it says the cant select database.

let me knw how to refresh my server which i can try doing. Kindly help!
