certain parts of php not working since server changeover

I think the PHP fopen() is not working in my account anymore since the server changeover.
I have intermediate PHP.

PHP error message:

Warning: fopen() [function.fopen]: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or
service not known

Please check this out. x10hosting does a great job.

Fopen() continues to show the same failure message today. It worked fine before the migration.

After a few days of working fopen() in php is busted again in my account.

I hope it can be fixed permanently.
