I logged into CPanel and was poking around to see what was what. I already have a CGI Perl script for email, but noticed there is an executable in my cgi-bin that is linked to from the CPanel->CGI Center->CGIEmail link. The link target is the following URL:

http://jdwinfodesign.x10hosting.com/cgi-bin/cgiemail

Clicking this URL, the browser grinds along forever and does not load the Web page. It timed out on me eight times.

What gives?

This is an ad-free plan on ... Absolut? I think.
Edit:
Oh, come on. It's been 17 hours since I posted this question.

X10 asks us not to IM the admins, but if you're not going to answer questions, how else do we find answers?

Yes, it's free hosting and I appreciate that. I am willing to look and find things.

But you have to expect that some of us are not that experienced and could at least use a pointer to the information.
Edit:
Finally, the cgiemail executable seems to be working.

I suppose its lagginess had to do with the overall free site performance as affected by the current upgrades.

Still, it would inspire a bit more confidence if this had received a comment from support.
