cgi : how to install mimetex ?

Hi,

I tried to install mimetex.cgi on my page but I get an error 500 when I try to use it. I put my mimetex.cgi in cgi-bin folder and in scgi-bin folder. Both aren't working. Can you explain me how to install cgi applications ?

PS: I'm on php 2 config (intermediate).

The .cgi should be executable, make sure that it has permissions: 755.
