cgi quit working

It seems since the night of Oct. 7, cgi scripts quit working. Nothing was changed on my site. Any ideas?

cgi has been disabled by the Administration due to abuse by some users.
Nothing has been announced as to a final decision if and when and with what restrictions it will be enabled.
