Does your forum admin panel have a Themes manager? If so, you may be able to edit the themes and place the banner code on from there.

 As Far As I Can Tell: Nope. ( don't see any THEME manager ) more blinking!

My forum admin panel has no Themes Manager, only Skins and Templates.

I'd like to stick the Advertisement right into the "main" CGI script. (if possible)

So, it is always on: Top an on Every Page. (no option to ByPass it) with Theme

I will look into a Skin or Template here ( ie; Theme ) as you sudjest. Who knows?

side-note; tomorrow I will change the Script from v3.1.2.a to v3.1.3.b and see.

You are getting the 500 error, most likely, because you are uploading the files in the wrong format. You need to make sure they are being uploaded in ASCII. SOme FTP scripts uoload then in binary.

I might be reviving an old thread but I might as well post the solution.

In th AdminCP, under the Templates, click on 'Edit Board Template'.

Select the theme you want to add the code to (usually just the default one).

Click on 'Edit this template'.

Add the code between the <html> and <head> tages. To center the ad, just wrap the code between <center> and </center> tags. Click on 'Edit this template' and your all done.

Doing this will make you ad appear at the very top, centered on every page.

If it doesnt work for any reason, and your forum doesnt work properly, simply remove the code you added.
