So, it downloaded this script: http://www.seriousfun.co.nz/tuisoft/editorlite.shtml
for a news posting thing.

I uploaded all the files to the CGI-bin directory and followed the instructions in the readme file.

The files are .pl and .txt only and at the minute the .pl files are set as 755 and the .txt as 664.

The path the perl at the top of the .pl files are at the minute are #!/usr/bin/perl

Am i doing something wrong? Are the files in teh wrong place? please help.

Are you getting an error (if so, what does it say), or are they just not working at all? I've never used CGI so I can't help but perhaps someone else can with a little more info.

Yes cute news is nice, too complex for me. I wrote my own News System. No members it just lets one person post that is perfect!
