Change cPanel domain

Hi,

I attempted to change my domain using the first method in the knowledgebase (http://kb.x10hosting.com/questions.php?questionid=19), however the domain shown in cPanel under the "Stats" sidebar still shows the old domain. A check on my browser also showed that the new domain was supported by a nameserver (Mozilla Firefox unable to find server)

How do I change this domain to the new one? I'm parking the new one now as a temporary measure but would like to resolve this permanently.
